Cornelius's 1997 album Fantasma introduced the genre-defying Japanese artist (Keigo Oyamada) to most of the Western world with it's everything-in-a-blender style. Nearly 20 years later it still kinda sounds like it's from the future. (Or the '90s future some imagined Tokyo to be.) Originally released in the U.S. via Matador, Fantasma is getting reissued by Lefse Records on June 10 on gatefold double vinyl, with the original album on the first three sides, and four bonus tracks on the fourth. Pre-orders are available. You can check out a stop-motion-animated "unboxing" of the vinyl reissue, watch Cornelius perform the classic "Count Five or Six" on Yo Gabba Gabba, and stream the original album below.

As mentioned, Cornelius will be playing Fantasma in full at the 2016 Eaux Claires Festival and they've announced additional U.S. Fantasma dates around it. Currently there are no East Coast dates but we can hope. This will be Cornelius' first North American tour in nearly a decade. All tour dates are listed below.
