Courtney Barnett, Sleigh Bells & more played Mom+Pop 10th Anniversary (pics, video, setlists)
Indie label Mom+Pop Music celebrated 10 years in existence on Monday night at NYC’s Brooklyn Steel with a birthday party featuring much of their current roster: Courtney Barnett, Sleigh Bells, Tom Morello, Neon Indian, Alice Merton and Sunflower Bean. Sets were short, with headliner Courtney Barnett playing a tight, hit-packed set. Sleigh Bells closed out their set by bringing out Tom Morello, who had “Mom + Pop” emblazoned on the back of his guitar, to play on “Bitter Rivals.” Check out Courtney and Sleigh Bells’ setlists (and a few videos including the Sleigh Bells/Morello collab) below and pictures from the whole night in the gallery above.
While Courtney was in NYC she stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to perform “Crippling Self Doubt and a General Lack of Self Confidence” from this year’s Tell Me How You Really Feel; watch that below. Courtney’s tour with Waxahatchee has three dates left: Philly tonight (10/23), Nashville on Thursday (10/25) and Austin on Saturday (10/27). She then heads across the Atlantic for a UK/EU tour with Laura Jean. All dates are listed below.
