Courtney Barnett, Sleigh Bells & more playing Mom+Pop 10th Anniversary show in Brooklyn
Courtney Barnett, Sleigh Bells, Neon Indian, Alice Merton, Sunflower Bean, and Tom Morello are all playing Brooklyn Steel on October 22 in celebration of record label Mom+Pop Music’s 10th anniversary. “Special guests” are promised and tickets are on presale now including VIP options, as well as bundles with exclusive merch, like the 10 Years of Mom+Pop three-vinyl-LP compilation. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 14 at 10 AM.
There is also an after-party at Good Room featuring DJ sets from Flume and the Future Classic crew. Tickets are on sale for that as well.
The 10 Years of Mom+Pop compilation features one disc of rarities; a disc of covers from Lucius, Sunflower Bean, Andrew Bird, Tokyo Police Club, Lady Lamb, and more; and a disc of “Greatest Hits” including Courtney Barnett’s “Avant Gardner,” Neon Indian’s “Polish Girl,” Sleigh Bells’ “Rill Rill,” Flume’s “Never Be Like You,” and more. The compilation will officially be out for Record Store Day Black Friday (November 23) and you can check out the tracklist below.
For Courtney Barnett, the Mom+Pop anniversary show happens in the midst of her fall tour with Waxahatchee. All of Courtney’s dates are listed below. Tom Morello goes on tour shortly beforehand, including two NYC shows.
