Courtney Love is not happy that Bikini Kill are back

The Bikini Kill reunion has been some of the most exciting music news of the year, but apparently not everyone is happy. Courtney Love, who has a rocky history with Bikini Kill dating back to Lollapalooza 1995, reignited her feud with the band. As Pitchfork points out, Courtney commented on a Bust Magazine Instagram post about Bikini Kill’s tickets selling so quickly that was captioned with the hashtag #everybodywantstogo. “Speak for yourself. Biggest hoax in history of rock and roll,” Courtney replied.

Courtney continued: “It’s worse when I speak truth to rock male industrial complex. But at least I have the best view. Two of that band total amateurs. Hanna is a good hype man. But her persona is such a diy nonsense dilettante. A big idea they cannot convey, because they suck. That’s all! Back to Paris couture, because frocks don’t trigger me. Ce vai!”

Meanwhile, probably to Courtney’s dismay, the band seem to be hinting at more shows. (Update: and more shows announced indeed!)
