Philly shoegazers Creepoid first caught our ears with last year's self-titled sophomore LP on No Idea, and cemented that interest even further when we caught them opening for Dinosaur Jr. Now they've signed to Geoff Rickly's Collect Records to release their third album, Cemetery Highrise Slum, and lead single "American Smile" has us pretty excited for it. They've never been straight shoegaze, but on this song especially they're going into grungy slacker territory that suggests maybe playing with Dinosaur Jr rubbed off on them. Listen below.

The album was produced by Peter Mavrogeorgis, who engineered The National's High Violet and Sharon Van Etten's Tramp, and will be out on June 23. Pre-order coming soon. Artwork and tracklist below.

They've got a US tour with Pity Sex, a few stops at SXSW, and a UK tour with A Place to Bury Strangers coming up (no NYC show at the moment). All dates are listed below...
