Oxford, Ohio four piece Cross Country formed in 2014, released their first EP the next year, and have since refined their angular, sorta-skronky indie rock sound through constant gigging. A year later, Cross Country are set to release Trials which the band recorded live to 2″ tape in Philadelphia. It’s the latest release in the Infinity Cat Cassette Series, which is curated by Casey Weissbuch — it’s out September 16. We’ve got the premiere of the tape’s opening cut, “Alone,” which is not too far off from what Parquet Courts are doing. Check it out:

The Trials cassette is limited to 350 copies.
