Dalek

Dalek releasing 'Endangered Philosophies,' touring with Street Sects

Experimental hip hop trio Dälek are keeping the reunion going and staying prolific. They’ll release their seventh studio album, Endangered Philosophies, on September 1, and they’re back on longtime label Ipecac Recordings for this one (preorder). Last year’s Asphalt to Eden was on Profound Lore. The first single from the album, “Echoes Of…”, is available now for streaming. It features Dälek’s signature mix of hard-hitting, abrasive electronics with MC dälek’s aggressive flow. Listen to it below.

In addition, Dälek will be embarking on a North American tour starting this fall. Though they’ve played a lot of hometown shows and gone on a few support tours since reuniting, this is their first lengthy headlining tour in a while. Support on most dates comes from Austin industrial punk duo Street Sects.

The tour stops at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory on October 26 (tickets). All tour dates are listed below.
