Birmingham, AL's Dan Sartain got his start making lo-fi punk over 10 years ago. He expands his pallette considerably for his new album, Dudesblood, which is out on April 29 via One Little Indian. You still get memorable Ramones-y ravers (and a funny Picadilly punk parody "Smash the Tesco"), but there's also the western tumble of "Marfa Lights" and "Moonlight Swim," plus a terrific, cover of The Knife's "Pass This On" featuring the marimba skills of X drummer DJ Bonebreak. We're premiering a stream of the whole album which you can listen to in this post.
