Das Racist

Das Racist, who played the free Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park over the weekend (pics of that coming soon), have begun revealing a tour to take place this fall. A full list of dates has not been announced yet, but a few are starting to surface, including Virgin Mobiel FreeFest and a NYC show, which happens on September 27 at Irving Plaza. The group are taking out some of their friends as openers, and for the NYC show it will be Le1f and SAFE. Tickets for that show go on sale today (8/27) at noon.

The Philly show has that same lineup, plus Lakutis, who you can catch along with SAFE in NYC at Glasslands on September 10, with Quinn Walker (of Suckers), Carrie Wilds, Kool AD’s Peaceful Solutions project, host Dapwell, and others. Tickets for that show are still available.

Meanwhile, you can also catch Le1f in NYC even sooner when he sets sail aboard a Rocks Off Cruise on August 29 with Big Freedia. Tickets for that show are still available and we’re also giving some away.

Heems of Das Racist also plays a solo show in NYC a bit before that at Shea Stadium on September 21 with Smoke DZA, Meyhem Lauren, Children of the Night, and others. Tickets for that show are still available.

A list of all currently known dates and a stream of Das Racist’s “Jungle Fever,” which features Le1f, are below.
