Dashboard Confessional doing full albums tour with The Get Up Kids

Dashboard Confessional are celebrating 20 years as a band on tour early in 2020 by performing two of their most beloved albums, 2001’s The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most and 2003’s A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar, in full. The tour includes two nights in many cities, including NYC, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Detroit, and San Francisco, with one night devoted to each album; elsewhere, including stops in Austin, Denver, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Sayreville NJ, they’ll instead play a single night with a mix of songs from both albums. Dashboard have some great support lined up for these dates, with Piebald opening the first half of the tour and The Get Up Kids opening the second. See all dates below.

Dashboard’s NYC dates happen on March 10-11 at Webster Hall. They’ll perform The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most on the 3/10, and A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar on the 3/11. The Get Up Kids open both dates, and tickets go on sale Friday 9/20 at 10 am, with various presales starting Wednesday 9/18 at 10 AM. Dashboard with also stop at Sayreville NJ’s Starland Ballroom on March 13 (tickets). See all their upcoming dates below.

The Get Up Kids will tour with Kevin Devine later this year ahead of their dates with Dashboard.

In addition to the tour, Dashboard are also celebrating their anniversary with a career-spanning compilation, The Best Ones Of The Best Ones, due out on January 31, 2020. See the cover art and tracklisting below.

Later this month, on September 23 Dashboard will also launch a Reverb shop where they’ll be selling the three acoustic guitars that were used to write and record The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, along with other guitars, effect pedals, amps, and more.

Dashboard just played one of the albums they’ll feature on this tour, The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, at Riot Fest on Friday.
