Daughters sign to Ipecac, share first song in 8 years, announce shows

Providence noise vets Daughters have been reunited for a few years, and now they’ve signed with Mike Patton and Greg Werckman’s Ipecac Recordings, who will put out their “as-of-yet unannounced, but planned, 2018 release,” their first new music since 2010. The first taste of this release is new single “Satan in the Wait,” which has all the punky noise and attitude you’d expect from Daughters, but — as far as their music goes — it’s actually kinda pretty. It’s a promising song that already has us excited to hear more new Daughters. Listen below.

The band also announced a few November shows happening in Brooklyn, LA, San Francisco, Denver, and Chicago. The short run begins with the Brooklyn show, which is on 11/4 at Saint Vitus (tickets). All dates are listed below.
