After resting for a couple nights, Dave Chappelle continued his 16-show Radio City residency last night with neo-soul great Erykah Badu, who Chappelle called "the Khaleesi of hip hop, breaker of chains." The surprise guests this time were Cedric the Entertainer and Marlon Wayans, plus Donnell Rawlings as Ashy Larry (who's been at every night) and returning guest Wil Sylvince. One attendee wrote:

Initially I pouted, but cheers to @radiocitymusichall and Chappelle for taking our phones and locking them away, forcing every audience member to be in the moment, which is what this whole ride is supposed to be about anyways. How else would @erykahbadu feel comfortable enough to moon the audience not once, but thrice? I laughed, I cried, I bought a 'player haters ball' pimp cup full of champagne for myself. As Dave put it, here's to 30 years of my career, and to bringing back privacy in performance.

Not the first time Erykah mooned a crowd.

Another review reads:

Just had one of THE best nights of my life. Dave Chappelle has done an amazing job in creating such a special experience. So many funny people, and Erykah Badu...words cannot describe what it's like to see and hear her live. I was either in tears from laughter or from just enjoying and appreciating the experience. We were forced to disconnect from our technology and truly live in the moment. I'm SO happy to have been a part of this

Like at all shows on the run, phones were locked up so there isn't much in the way of pics and videos, but you can check out some more Instagrams below.

Tonight (8/10) is another off-night for the Radio City run, but Chappelle hosts a free party at House of Vans tonight instead. RSVPs are at "low quantity."

The Radio City run picks back up on Saturday (8/12) and upcoming guests include Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, Lauryn Hill, Solange, Mos Def & Talib Kweli, and more.
