David Cross making & selling COVID-19 masks for charity
"Since we all have to wear masks for the foreseeable future, why not at least make it fun(ish)?," asks comedian David Cross, who is doing his part with his own line of masks you can buy from his website. There are three variations with different slogans typical of his ironic style: "OWNING THE LIBSs," "NO OFFENSE BUT YOU STINK" and "TIRED OF WINNING." Cross says the masks, which are made of a 50/50 cotton/polyester blended fleece, allow wearers to be "fashion-forward just like the fantastic Anna Wintour" and "are suitable for Burning Man/Fyre Festival/Juggalo events" (not that any of those events are happening this year).
It's $25 for the three-mask set and Cross notes that 100% of the profits will go to the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.
