Deafheaven played Warsaw on Wednesday with This Will Destroy You and Emma Ruth Rundle. The show was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was postponed thanks to the storm. The band’s unique blend of post-rock metal and frontman George Clarke’ audacious, crowd-teasing antics made sure the snow-weary Warsaw crowd soon forgot the disappointments of Tuesday’s postponement. Clarke’s sonically-charged stage dives brought even more energy to a set which heavily featured songs from critically acclaimed 2015 release New Bermuda. Clarke also promised a new album by the time the band comes back to Brooklyn. Setlist is below.

Emma Ruth Rundle and This Will Destroy You were fitting openers; the latter bringing an irresistibly dynamic wall of noise. perfectly setting the stage for Deafheaven. Pics from their sets, and more of Deafheaven, are in the gallery above.
