Deerhunter & Dirty Projectors announce 2019 tour
Long-running indie bands Deerhunter and Dirty Projectors have led pretty parallel careers, both forming in the early 2000s, having major breakthroughs in the late 2000s, and more recently settling into a comfortable, slightly more accessible version of their most classic albums. So it's exciting news that these two bands have announced a tour together for this year. They also both play Primavera Sound.
The tour includes a NYC show at NYC's just-reopened Webster Hall on September 10. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (5/3) at 10 AM with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (5/1) at 10 AM.
Both bands have other upcoming dates too, and for Dirty Projectors that includes Hudson, NY and Hamden, CT shows in May right before Primavera Sound. All dates are listed below.
