Deerhunter released Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared? back at the start of this year and have just shared a new song, the 12-minute, darkly glam "Timebender." Powered by elegant piano, the song takes a few wild twists and turns before winding back where it began. Listen to that below.

No word yet on whether this is a standalone track or part of something bigger, but if you need more Bradford Cox, his EP with Cate Le Bon is out tomorrow.

UPDATE: A press release calls it "a separate entity to their eighth studio album Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?," and points out it was recorded "live direct to tape and in one take with minimal overdubs and mastered using a completely analogue signal chain" on September 12 at Brooklyn's Bunker Studio.
