Since the release of Dej Loaf's killer 2015 EP #AndSeeThatsTheThing (and last year's All Jokes Aside mixtape and this year's collab mixtape with Jacquees), we've been patiently waiting Dej's proper debut album. Late last year, she said it would be called Liberated and feature Leon Bridges, and this past June she dropped the new single "No Fear." Still no word on a release date or anything, but it appears that we're one step closer to the album because she released a new single, "Changes." This is new ground for Dej, with big, triumphant horns and live-sounding drums making it the grandest sounding song she's released yet. As always, she brings it as both a rapper and a singer. Listen below.

Talking about her upcoming album, Dej told XXL, "It’s not that much different. It’s different, but not too far off. They’re gonna understand she’s here to stay. I wanna play with the big dogs. I wanna make big music. I’m making music that I want to last forever, not just a quick hit."
