Dent May releasing third LP in August, playing shows

Mississippi leisure enthusiast Dent May is ready to release his new album, Warm Blanket, which will be out via Paw Tracks on August 27. The album (cover art above) was recorded mostly by Dent himself in a Victorian House in Sarassota, FL which seems about right for Dent. You can get a taste via a teaser video that makes use of the album’s opening track, “Turn Up the Speakers.” Watch that below.

Look for a more proper tour after the release of the album, but Dent Will be doing a short jaunt surrounding Canada’s Sled Island Festival. No dates in NYC announced yet (he hasn’t been here since CMJ) but all are listed below.
