Denzel Curry, Venus X & more @ Warm Up (pics, video)
The latest edition of Warm Up at MoMA PS1 was this past Saturday (8/5) with Venus X, Denzel Curry, Southside, Nef The Pharaoh, Dave, and DJ Diamond Kuts. Perhaps the most exciting performer of the day was Florida rapper Denzel Curry, who continues to blow up and who had the Warm Up crowd going nuts, complete with mosh pits:
Denzel recently released his 13 EP, his first new release for Loma Vista Recordings (not counting the reissue of 2016's Imperial that they put out), and he's planning to release his new album Taboo at some point in the near future. Stay tuned.
Pictures of Denzel and the rest of last Saturday's Warm Up performers are in the gallery above. Catch Denzel on tour with Show Me the Body this fall, including a NYC show on October 2 at Highline Ballroom (moved from 9/30) (tickets).
Warm Up has another rap show this Saturday (8/12) with A$AP Ferg, Cardi B, and more (tickets). It was just announced this week that the final Warm Up will be headlined by Little Dragon. Check out Warm Up's remaining schedule HERE.
