Diet Cig headlining Knitting Factory, playing tons of cool fests
Local rising energetic duo Diet Cig, who were already one of the buzziest acts at SXSW this year, are keeping the upward trajectory going with impressive booking after impressive booking. Just earlier this year they were regularly playing early on small local gigs, but now the Frenchkiss-signed band is headlining their own Brooklyn show at Knitting Factory and on lineups of three of the coolest punk-leaning festivals in the country.
Those festivals are Wrecking Ball, Riot Fest, and Sound On Sound (the new FFF), and the Knitting Factory show happens on September 29. It’s with support from Free Cake for Every Creature and Fits. Tickets go on sale Friday (7/1) at 10 AM.
