Dillinger Escape Plan involved in bus wreck in Poland, 13 injured
Thirteen people were injured when a truck rammed into The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s tour bus before a show in Krakow, Poland, reports The Associated Press. Aneta Wlazlowska from the police in Radomsko told the AP that the band were not seriously hurt but had been taken to the local hospital for tests. The bus was parked on the shoulder of the road at the time, and guitarist Ben Weinman told Metal Injection that the truck hit from the back and smashed through their gear before reaching the bus itself. “Everyone is alive, a few injuries, but it could be much worse,” he told them. According to the police, the bus’ driver was the most seriously injured. Stay tuned for more details.
The DEP are on the European leg of their “final tour” which continues through the summer. Tonight’s Krakow show has been canceled, with no word on the remainder of the European dates. Remaining dates as they stand now are listed below.
