GWAR-B-Q finally went down on August 20 in Richmond, Virginia, and naturally some crazy stuff happened. Most notable among these items was the fact that The Dillinger Escape Plan, who were slated to perform, found themselves without a vocalist due to Greg Pulciato's flight being cancelled. So, they made do with what they had, which included some guest saxophoning from Bruce Lamont (of Yakuza and Brain Tentacles, who also played) and some guest vocals from a member of the audience.

Meanwhile, Eyehategod also showed up with a guest vocalist, Pantera's Phil Anselmo, who previously sang with them in New Orleans (which drew raves from our reviewer Blair Hopkins).

There were plenty of other acts, like Lamb of God, Against Me! and of course GWAR themselves. Oh and GWAR debuted their new brand of vodka ("Arctic Snow") Check out some videos of that DEP set and some instagrams from the rest of the festival below.
