Dirty Projectors releasing 'Windows Open' EP this week, share "Search For Life" (listen)

Dirty Projectors have announced their first proper release since 2018’s Lamp Lit Prose in the form of a new EP, titled Windows Open, out on March 27 via Domino (artwork and tracklist below). It includes their great recent single “Overlord” along with three other tracks – all of which feature vocalist Maia Friedman taking lead. They’re promoting the EP with a new single “Search For Life,” which shows Friedman’s delicate vocals alongside gentle acoustic guitars and flourishing strings in a way that might make you think of Bitte Orca highlight “Two Doves.” It’s another solid track, and you can hear it below.

In case you missed it, Dirty Projectors also covered John Lennon’s “Isolation” to benefit MusiCares’ COVID-19 relief fund. You can hear that below as well.
