DMX was on top of the world for a good five years or so in the late '90s / early '00s. He significantly slowed down his release schedule since then and never really returned to the spotlight that he was in during his prime, but he's been poised for a comeback. Last year, he took advantage of the current nostalgia for the late '90s by hopping on Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Family reunion tour. This year, he returned with a new single produced by his old collaborator Swizz Beats, "Bain Iz Back," and he sounds pretty fired up on it. It's a good time for a DMX comeback too. The best rapper around, Kendrick Lamar, has said It's Dark And Hell Is Hot inspired him to be a rapper and that it's got one of his favorite verses of all time.

Now DMX is doing his own nostalgia tour, the Ruff Ryders reunion tour, which reunites X with Eve, Swizz Beatz, The LOX and Drag-On. So far the only date announced happens at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on April 21. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (3/3) at noon with various presales starting beforehand.

DMX also plays Miami's 9 Mile Music Festival in Miami on March 11 with Rick Ross, Julian Marley and more, and he has his own small NYC show happening right beforehand at BB King's on March 10. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All DMX dates are listed below.

The LOX, who also went on the Bad Boy tour and recently released their first album in 16 years, also have a headlining tour that hits NYC on April 7 at Irving Plaza (tickets).

Over the weekend, Swizz Beatz did a DJ set for Hot 97 and dropped an unreleased song that features DMX, Jay Z, Nas, and Jadakiss. Watch the whole thing below -- that song comes in at 2:27:12.
