Dogleg detail debut album 'Melee,' share new song & video, "Kawasaki Backflip"
Michigan emo-punks Dogleg stirred up a lot of buzz last year with their first single for Triple Crown “Fox” and its video, which gives you an idea of how wild this band’s live shows can get. Now, they’ve officially announced their debut album, Melee, due March 13 via Triple Crown (pre-order). Along with the announcement comes second single “Kawasaki Backflip” and a video that finds the band rocking out in their garage and smashing a bunch of household items (and, eventually, their instruments). As mentioned, Dogleg are opening part of Microwave‘s tour, alongside Save Face and Elder Brother. That run includes shows at Asbury Park’s House of Independents on 3/26 (tickets) and Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on 3/27 (tickets). Dogleg are also playing SXSW. All dates are listed below.
