Dr. Dog & Son Little @ Riviera Theatre (pics)

Dr. Dog have been on tour in support of their psychedelic new album Critical Equation, and they hit Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on Saturday (5/5). They played a good chunk of the new album plus plenty of older songs and their cover of Architecture In Helsinki’s “Heart It Races.” The Chicago show was part of their run with soul/R&B singer Son Little, who released New Magic last year (and is also on the latest Portugal. The Man album). Pictures of that show are in the gallery above.

Dr. Dog have a run in June with (Sandy) Alex G opening, and that includes three NYC shows at Brooklyn Steel (tickets).
