Dr. Martens making Sex Pistols themed boots/shoes

You may remember that last year Dr. Martens released a line of shoes based on Joy Division and New Order artwork. This year, they’re releasing shoes in collaboration with Sex Pistols. As Pitchfork points out, the gob-resistant models were inspired by designer Jamie Reid, who created the cover art for Sex Pistol’s classic, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols. There are three designs in the Dr. Martens x Sex Pistols line for 1490 boots, 1460 boots, and 1460 shoes. The 1460 shoes have “Boredom” emblazoned on them, which would probably work for Buzzcocks fans, too. (There will be t-shirts, too.) They’re not for sale yet, so maybe save your “Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?” jokes for when we learn how much they cost, but you can check out more images of the line, below.
