Drake lists his top 5 rappers of all time

Drake recently released his new mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes and its opening track is “Deep Pockets,” which may or may not be a reference to fellow Toronto rapper Young Tony‘s (aka Anthony “Hush” Palman) mid-2000s group Deep Pockets. Tony, who’s now also a member of Drake’s OVO crew, posted an Instagram with pictures of two old Deep Pockets CDs and put the #darklanedemotapes hashtag in the caption, and then Drake — completely unprompted — left his list of his top five rappers of all time in the comments, including Tony.

“My top 5 is Biggie, Hov, Wayne, Young Tony, and 3000 since nobody asked,” Drake wrote. What do you think of Drake’s list?

In related news, Drake’s great Future collab from earlier this year, “Life Is Good,” will appear on Future’s new album High Off Life, which drops this Friday (5/15). Tracklist below.
