Drake postpones more dates, including Barclays Center

Drake recently had to postpone some dates on his tour with Future, including one Newark show, due to injury. The two shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center were still on and so was the second show at Newark’s Prudential Center, but now Drake has had to postpone those too. A new statement reads:

Drake suffered a severe ankle injury during the tour which he did his best to power through. By doing this, he made his injury worse. Under doctors orders and to ensure Drake only ever gives fans the performances they deserve, he will be postponing the remaining 3 dates of his Summer Sixteen tour to allow him time to recuperate his ankle injury. Drake’s fans mean the world to him. Seeing their faces and performing his music for them is what he loves to do the most and he can’t wait to get back on stage.

Bummer news. The two-night run at Barclays Center would have kicked off tonight (10/11). Refunds available, and tickets will be honored at the new dates (which are still TBA).

Drake also added European dates for 2017. Updated dates are listed below.

Earlier on this tour, Drake played four MSG shows and made a surprise appearance at Mad Decent Block Party in Coney Island.
