Drugdealer (ex Salvia Plath) released debut LP ft. Ariel Pink, Weyes Blood & more (listen)

Michael Collins, formerly Run DMT and Salvia Plath, now makes music under the name Drugdealer. Inspired by ’60s/’70s psych pop and cinema, Drugdealer’s debut album, The End of Comedy, is tuneful, breezy and features collaborations with Ariel Pink, Weyes Blood, and Sheer Agony, plus members of Regal Degal, Holy Shit!, likeminded trippers Mild High Club, Mr. Twin Sister and Mac DeMarco’s band. Traces of Nilsson and Wilson are evident, or the touchstone of your choice, but Collins brings his own spin to things. It’s a really nice LP. The album’s out today via Weird World and you can stream the whole thing below.
