DTCV share "Miley Cyrus Wins the Race" from new LP (listen)

California duo DTCV have shared another song from their third album, Uptime!, which is out March 10 via Unsatisfied. “Miley Cyrus Wins the Race” clearly began with a ’60s girl group blueprint but DTCV puts a fresh coat of paint on that foundation. And despite the provocative title, DTCV say the song is “only kinda sorta about Miley Cyrus.” The song makes its premiere in this post, so determine what “kinda sorta” means for yourself. As mentioned, DTCV will be on tour with Ohio indie rock cult heros Swearing at Motorists this spring, including a stop at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on March 28. Tickets are still available.
