Recently reformed indie vets Duster played their first show in 18 years on Friday (12/14) night, opening for (Sandy) Alex G at Warsaw in Brooklyn. The band has teased having new music in the works, and along with material from their brief catalog (that has influenced the likes of Girlpool [whose Harmony Tividad opened the show], American Pleasure Club, and Alex G himself) they played a few new songs on Friday night, and sounded great doing so. They go on to play two sold-out headlining shows tonight (12/15) and Sunday (12/16) at Baby's All Right, and in January head to the West Coast for more dates (which are listed below).

Next up were Alex G and his band, who came out to Tom Cochrane's "Life Is a Highway" blasting on the sound system, one of a couple of the evening's throwbacks - they also incorporated some of blink-182's "What's My Age Again" into "Adam," the set's final song. The crowd was hyped to hear songs from their acclaimed 2017 album Rocket, as well as some older cuts.

Unfortunately we missed Harmony Tividad's opening set. Check out pictures of (Sandy) Alex G and Duster in the gallery above. Watch some video clips, and see their setlists, below.
