D∆WN has new videos/singles, playing $3 NYC show

D∆WN (aka Dawn Richard) released her Kingdom-produced Infrared EP in May, and she has not slowed down since then. She put out a “fashion film” for her Machinedrum-produced single “Wake Up” and a “2D companion piece” video for “Not Above That” off her much-anticipated RED*emp*tion album. She also dropped the Clark-produced single “Serpentine Fire” for the Adult Swim singles series, and she put a collaborative song with oshi called “Lemonade Lakes” for Yours Truly and Adidas’ #songsfromscratch series. You can check out all of that below.

Dawn was in NYC earlier this month for the Northside Festival, and she’ll return for the next PopGun-curated Red Bull Sound Select show on August 16 at House of Yes (2 Wyckoff Ave). The openers are River Tiber and Starchild and the New Romantic (who’s on the new Blood Orange album and has been covering Prince with cool people). Like most RBSS shows, admission is $3 at the door with RSVP or $10 without. Either way, admission is first come first served.
