Dysrhythmia streaming 'The Veil of Control,' playing release show at Saint Vitus

NYC experimental metal heavyweights Dysrhythmia are streaming their new album The Veil of Control. As we expect from these guys — who include the multi-talented Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts, Behold the Arctopus, Withered) and Kevin Hufnagel (Sabbath Assembly, Gorguts) — this is a knotty, punishingly jazzy slice of metal. Endlessly circular, musically advanced to the point of befuddling the listener, this is a heavy brain workout for whenever you feel like sitting down and really immersing yourself in an album.

Meanwhile, Dysrhythmia have a release show coming up in NYC. They’ll play Saint Vitus on November 5 with support from Cleric and Multicult. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Before that, you can also catch these guys with the peerless Gorguts when they stop in NYC for that show at Le Poisson Rouge on October 30. Tickets for that are still available. And Kevin will be taking part in the Enslaved/Wardruna-run Swedish affair at Gramercy Theater on December 9 & 10, for which Tickets are still on sale.
