Earl Sweatshirt releases new single “Whole World” ft. Maxo (listen)
Updated on 4/24
Just days after Quelle Chris released the Earl Sweatshirt-featuring "Mirage" off his new album Innocent Country 2 (which drops this Friday via Mello Music Group), the beans spilled that Earl will be releasing his own new single, "Whole World," tonight at midnight. It'll be Earl's first solo single since his great 2019 project FEET OF CLAY, and it'll feature a guest verse by rising LA rapper Maxo. As HotNewHipHop points out, a 30-second sample of the song is available now via Apple Music (due to time zones). Listen below
and stay tuned for the US release.
UPDATE (4/26): The song is out now, and it was revealed that it will be one of two new songs on a deluxe edition of FEET OF CLAY, which is due June 26 via Tan Cressida/Warner. The song was produced by The Alchemist, who also helmed "Mtomb" on FEET OF CLAY, and like that song, this one's a little more on the traditional rap side as far as Earl's recent material goes, but still in a way that's hazy and psychedelic. Listen below.
