Having released the album Black Heaven last year (one of Converge bassist Nate Newton's favorites of 2018), stoner rockers Earthless played two Brooklyn shows this past weekend ahead of their Australia/New Zealand tour. We caught the sold-out, packed Saint Vitus show on Saturday (2/9), where Earthless sounded awesome. As always, there were very little vocals but the band's instrumentals are transportive on their own. They opened with a 25-minute long track that was a ferocious, psychedelic guitar jam excursion and had us sucked in right off the bat. Things stayed on that high for the band's entire, one and a half hour set. Pictures of the mesmerizing night are in the gallery above.
