Einsturzende Neubauten prep new LP, announce 'The Year Of The Rat' North American tour
Industrial icons Einstürzende Neubauten are gearing up to release their first proper studio album in 12 years. (2014’s Lament was a studio recreation of a commissioned performance piece.) Details of that are still TBA but the group will support the record, and perform it live, on the 2020 The Year of The Rat Tour that hits North America this fall. We haven’t seen a full list of dates but announced shows include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, NYC, and Boston.
The NYC show happens October 28 at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 17 at 10 AM with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (1/15) at noon.
According to Setlist.fm, Neubauten’s last NYC show was in 2004. They were supposed to tour in 2010 but that got canceled. All dates are listed below.
