Elder recently announced their new album Omens (due 4/24 via Armageddon Shop in the US and Stickman in Europe), and now they've shared the first single, "Embers." It clocks in at nearly eleven minutes and it finds Elder continuing to trek down the path of '70s progressive hard rock, with unexpected twists and turns, expansive guitar solos, and various instrumental passages and segues that all build up to something grander than the sum of their parts. It's very '70s, but Elder make it sound fresh, and when this song really gets going, it's the kind of thing you can fully lose yourself in. Listen below.
