Electric Wizard

Electric Wizard releasing 'Wizard Bloody Wizard' (watch "See You In Hell" video)

UK doom legends Electric Wizard said last year that their ninth album — the followup to 2014’s Time To Die — would be out in time for Halloween 2016. It wasn’t, but now it finally has a title, a release date, a first single, and all that jazz. Never ones to shy away from their love of Black Sabbath, the album is called Wizard Bloody Wizard, and it drops on November 10 via Witchfinder/Spinefarm. The lead single is “See You In Hell,” which is an awesome dose of the kind of stoner doom they’ve been making for over two decades now. Electric Wizard are one of those bands who basically never make a bad album, and who never need to change up their sound for the new stuff to feel fresh. Every few years, they just drop a new collection of songs on us, and it always rips. Judging by “See You In Hell,” Wizard Bloody Wizard will be no different. Watch the video for it and check out the album artwork and tracklist below.

The band’s only upcoming date is day three of the awesome Texas festival Sound on Sound, the same day as Ministry, Boris, and more.

Electric Wizard’s lineup often changes between albums, and it currently it has main member Jus Osborn and longtime guitarist Liz Buckingham currently joined by drummer Simon Poole and bassist Clayton Burgess.
