Now that Governors Ball and Panorama have come and gone for the summer, it's Electric Zoo's turn to take over Randall's Island, as the festival kicked off Labor Day weekend early on Friday (9/1) with the first day of its 2017 edition. DJ Snake headlined Friday at Electric Zoo, and gave a shoutout to Bronx rapper Cardi B by dropping her smash hit, "Bodak Yellow." Friday's lineup also included sets from Sasha and John Digweed, Paul Kalkbrenner, and a lot more. Check out pictures in the gallery above, as well as a look at the people of Ezoo and their colorful costumes: tutus, unicorn horns, glitter, beads, and fuzzy legwarmers included.

Electric Zoo continues this Labor Day weekend through Sunday. We have the set times and a list of this year's afterparties.

UPDATE: Find our pictures from Saturday at Electric Zoo HERE, and Sunday HERE.
