Toronto's Elliott Vincent Jones makes blissed-out synthpop that owes a little to the genre's early-'80s heyday, but also has a distinct breezy, balearic streak running though it. Following his debut single "Acapulco" earlier this year, EVJ will release an EP, Arto Arto, out June 10 via Bad Actors Inc (the label run by Fucked Up's Ben Cook, who co-produced the EP). We've got the premiere of EP track "In Madrid," which definitely owes a little to The Human League (and maybe just a bit to Steve Miller). Listen to that and a few other tracks, below.

You can catch Elliott Vincent Jones in NYC this weekend where he'll open for Mac DeMarco at Webster Hall on Sunday, May 15 (sold out) and he'll tour with Mac in Europe this summer, details TBA.
