Elvis Costello began NYC-area run at Brooklyn Steel (pics, video, setlist)

Elvis Costello began his four-night NYC-area run at Brooklyn Steel on Wednesday (3/7), alongside The Imposters which include original Attractions members Pete Thomas and Steve Nieve. The slushy conditions outside didn’t deter many concertgoers from packing the venue, and Elvis treated fans to set loaded with classics like “Radio, Radio,” “Pump It Up,” “Alison,” and “(I Don’t Want to Go to) Chelsea.” He came back for two multi-song encores, closing with an amazing triple shot of “Every Day I Write the Book,” “Pump it Up” and, finally, “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding.” You can view fan-shot photos and videos, and the show’s setlist, below.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters now head to Port Chester for three shows at Capitol Theatre tonight, Friday (3/9) and Sunday (3/11).  Tickets are still on sale.
