Tributes continue to pour in to the late Prodigy of Mobb Deep by other artists. Two very talented, very popular rappers who surely took some influence from Prodigy, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar, joined Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg on his "Real Late" show to rap some verses by their fallen hero. Em did part of "Survival of the Fittest" and Kendrick did "Genesis" from Prodigy's 2000 solo album H.N.I.C. Em added, "Hip hop loves you, you will forever be missed." Rosenberg plays the clips in the beginning of the episode, and goes on to play tons of Prodigy. Listen below (via Pitchfork).

In related news, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch and Kirk Knight joined The Soul Rebels for some Mobb Deep and Prodigy covers at Prospect Park. Check out pics and videos HERE.
