Erasure announce new album and 2014 tour, including two New Year's shows in NYC (dates, album trailer)

Erasure

Synthpop superstars Erasure have announced their new album, The Violet Flame, will be out via Mute on September 23. While they haven’t released a song from the album yet, the album will be available for pre-order on May 28, and you can watch a trailer for album below featuring some new music which takes them a bit into EDM territory.

With the new record, Vince Clarke and Andy Bell will be taking Erasure on the road, which includes New Year’s eve shows at NYC’s Terminal 5 on December 30 & 31. Tickets for those T5 shows go on sale Friday (May 30) at noon, with Pledgemusic presales starting Wednesday (5/27) at 10 AM and an AmEx presale starting Wednesday at noon.

Vince Clarke will be in NYC sooner than that, DJing with Mute prez Daniel Miller at Bowery Ballroom on July 3 (Vince’s birthday).
