Eric Bachmann announces self-titled solo album & tour, shares “Mercy” (dates & stream)
by Andrew Sacher
Archers of Loaf frontman Eric Bachmann is retiring his Crooked Fingers moniker and now recording solo under his own name. His new self-titled album will be out on March 25 via Merge, and it features the new single "Mercy" which sounds like an anthemic '70s ballad, complete with a backing gospel choir. Check it out below.
Eric also announced a spring tour, including NYC on April 23 at The Bell House. Tickets for that show will be on sale soon. That tour follows his two release parties for the Crooked Fingers reissues this month, which includes NYC's HiFi Bar on January 28 (sold out).
