Erykah Badu hosting interactive virtual concert, "Apocalypse Two: The Rooms"

Erykah Badu held The Quarantine Concert Series: Apocalypse One last week, and now she’s announced another livestreamed concert. “Apocalypse Two: The Rooms” happens on Sunday, April 5 at 8 PM ET, and $2 tickets, which “underwrite the cost of the high-concept production and they financially support the performers, crewmembers and technicians that make it all happen,” are on sale now.

According to a press release, Erykah will be backed by a her full band for the performance, and the “interactive experience gives guests a chance to move from room to room inside her home, exploring and experimenting with different genres of music interpreted through her catalogue of hits.”

Erykah said on her Instagram that doors are open now, and “guests have immediate access to the ‘venue’ where they can chat, watch videos, shop and meet the creative collaborators behind the limited edition merchandise curated by Badu,” ahead of the livestream, according to a press release.
