Estates streaming 2 songs (listen); Aviator touring (dates)

Milkwaukee’s Estates have a new album called It’s Great to Be Alone coming May 26 via Flannel Gurl Records (pre-order). They recently released its lead single “Not Now,” and we’ve got the premiere of second single “No In Between.” Both of those songs have the band pulling from the sounds of ’90s slowcore, post-hardcore and emo, and coming out with a mix that does its influences justice. Listen below.

Estates played their hometown stop of the Iron Chic / Spraynard tour last night, and their next show is their release party, which is also the Milwaukee stop of Aviator‘s tour. No other shows announced at the moment.

Speaking of Aviator‘s tour, the Boston melodic hardcore band will hit NYC on that run too on June 20 at Bushwick Public House (1288 Myrtle Ave). Also on that bill is Tri-State Era, Forever Losing Sleep and more TBA. Admission is $10 at the door.
