Ex Eye (Colin Stetson, Greg Fox, etc) releasing debut LP on Relapse, touring

Saxophonist Colin Stetson's (Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, etc) avant-metal band Ex Eye -- which also features drummer Greg Fox (Liturgy), guitarist Toby Summerfield, and bassist/keyboardist Shahzad Ismaily -- have signed to Relapse for the release of their self-titled debut album on June 23 (pre-order). The lead single is the spastic, experimental, twelve-and-a-half minute "Opposition/Perihelion; The Coil," which you can hear below.

Ex Eye also have shows coming up, including a Brooklyn show on August 18 at Saint Vitus (tickets). All dates are listed below.
