Having just played NYC's Winter Jazzfest and a late-night show at the Blue Note, UK jazz group Ezra Collective have added a NYC date to their upcoming US tour, happening March 9 at Rough Trade. They're also playing SXSW, as well as shows in DC, Detroit, New Orleans, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco. Tickets for the NYC show go on sale Friday (1/18) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (1/16) at noon. All dates are listed below.

Ezra Collective released the Juan Pablo: The Philosopher EP in 2017, and last year they contributed the song "Pure Shade" to Gilles Peterson's great We Out Here compilation and released a single featuring Jorja Smith. Ezra Collective pianist Joe Armon-Jones also contributed a song to We Out Here and released his debut album Starting Today last year. Ezra Collective appear to be gearing up for a 2019 album -- hopefully we'll get news on that sooner or later. Stay tuned.
