UK band Fat White Family recently took to social media to mock British foreign secretary Boris Johnson, who said that Sirte, the Libyan city where Muammar Gaddafi was killed, only has to "clear the dead bodies away" to become the "next Dubai." Fat Whites' Facebook post has been deleted, but their tweet remains, which reads, "ONLY A PEPPERING OF SAND NIGGER CARCASSES TO SHIFT AND WE'VE GOT OURSELVES A NEW DUBAI GENTLEMEN! ONWARDS!!!"

That tweet prompted Pitchfork to post an article with the headline, "Fat White Family Post Racial Slur on Social Media." The band -- whose members Lias and Nathan Saoudi are of Algerian descent -- then took to Facebook to reply to Pitchfork, writing:

I took that post down last because i couldn't be bothered to sit arguing with fucking morons online all evening but if Pitchfork want a response here it is....SUCK MY FILTHY HALF ALGERIEN CUNT. THE ONLY SLUR HERE IS YOUR HEADLINE WHICH TOTALLY AVOIDS CONTEXT. CRAWL BACK UP MAC DE MARCOS HOLE WHERE YOU BELONG YOU FUCKING FACISTS. RACIAL ABUSE WAS SOMETHING I HAD TO DEAL WITH EVERDAY GROWING UP AND I'LL PARODY THE DISGUSTING RACISTS THAT RUN THIS COUNTRY IN AS VICERAL A WAY AS POSSIBLE AT MY LEISURE.

It's not the first time Fat White Family have dissed Mac DeMarco. In 2015, they said they would join Isis if Mac DeMarco doesn't retire.
